Linking Japan’s innovators to the world’s creative economy
Saiko was formed with one goal: to enrich interactions between innovators in Japan and the world.
Based in New York and Tokyo, Saiko provides international public relations, translation and management services for independent Japanese creators. Saiko draws on thousands of contacts in the international media and entertainment industries, leveraging founder Dan Grunebaum’s decades of connecting Japanese creators to Western audiences, and a partnership with Japanese culture NPO J-Collabo.
Collaborative events showcasing Japanese artists with iTunes and Blue Man Group in Tokyo and New York, and content localization, branding, web development and social media for Japan’s NHK World and Nippon Television are only a few of Saiko’s successful projects. Dan is also the Entertainment Editor for Metropolis magazine in Tokyo and Japan culture writer for the New York Times, CNN and Newsweek.Find out what Saiko can do for you. “Thanks to Saiko’s PR effort Kyoto Jazz Sextet was able to receive its first English-language album review.” Shuya Okino (DJ/Producer, Kyoto Jazz Massive)
