Jazztronik is a free-form music project by pianist/composer/producer Ryota Nozaki.
Jazztronik debuted in 1998 with the album “Numero Uno.” He has released more than 20 albums including “Cannibal Rock”(2005), “en:Code”(2005), “Love Tribe”(2007), ‘’Dig Dig Dig’’(2011), ’’Jazztronik Studio Live Best’’(2012) and ’’Cinematic’’(2014).
The first Japanese artist to be featured DJ in the Mix series “Defected In The House,” Jazztronik has also mixed CDs like “Lovetronica!!”(2009). His latest original album is ‘’Keystone’’(2016).
Jazztronik‘s track “Samurai” from the album “Nanairo” (2004) became one of his biggest hits worldwide, topping DJs playlists from the likes of Gille Peterson, Danny Krivit and Louie Vega.
Jazztronik has performed at festivals including Southport Weekender (UK), Kaunas Fes(Lithuania), Jazzkaar Fes(Estonia), April Jazz Fes (Finland) and toured cities from New York to Paris, and London to Seoul and Shanghai.
As a composer and producer, Jazztronik has produced soundtracks for prime time Japanese TV dramas “Miraikoushi Meguru” and “Love game,” and blockbuster movies including “Miyagino.”
Jazztronik‘s newest project is Musilogue, designed to provide music for creative projects featuring more than 60 musicians active in many scenes.
